A long time ago, there was a small pond in a local temple.
At night, foxes come to put their feet in the pond. The fox had an injury to his leg.
“Why do you put your injured foot in the pond?” the monk wondered, and when he dug a little in the pond, it was warm. So, when I dug further, Yakushi Nyorai came out of the soil.
It is said that when the monk built a temple and worshipped Yakushi Nyorai, a hot spring gushed out.
From Yuda Onsen to Motonosumi Inari Shrine, it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes by car.
