江門市（官方音譯：Jiangmen，傳統外文：Kongmoon、Kongmun、Kiangmen），又稱四邑、五邑，簡稱邑，是中華人民共和國廣東省下轄的地級市，位於廣東省南部，是粵港澳大灣區的涵蓋城市之一。市境東鄰珠海市、中山市，北界佛山市，西北臨雲浮市，西接陽江市，南濱南海。位於珠江三角洲西部潭江谷地及低山丘陵區，南部海洋，粵港澳大灣區西岸，屬於濱海城市同時也是濱江城市，珠中江都會圈，天露山綿亙西北部。潭江橫貫市境，往東流入崖門水道出海，西江縱貫市境東緣，沿海有川山群島等島嶼，市政府駐蓬江區白沙大道西1號。江門歷史悠久，文化底蘊深厚，五邑文化和僑鄉文化獨具魅力，素有中國僑都美譽，也是廣府文化的代表城市之一。
名稱由來：元至正後期至明洪武初年（約1360-1370年），在肄水（西江）出口江門海西岸地域形成商貿墟集，稱江門墟，故而得名。
因江門位於西江與其支流蓬江的會合處，江南的煙墩山和江北的蓬萊山對峙如門，故名江門。

Jiangmen City (official transliteration: Jiangmen, traditional foreign language: Kongmoon, Kongmun, Kiangmen), also known as Siyi, Wuyi, or Yi for short, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, People’s Republic of China. It is located in the southern part of Guangdong Province and is one of the cities covered by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The city borders Zhuhai City and Zhongshan City to the east, Foshan City to the north, Yunfu City to the northwest, Yangjiang City to the west, and the South China Sea to the south. It is located in the Tanjiang Valley and low mountain and hilly area in the western part of the Pearl River Delta, the ocean to the south, and the west bank of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a coastal city and a riverside city. It is part of the Zhuzhongjiang Metropolitan Area, and the Tianlu Mountain stretches across the northwest. The Tanjiang River runs across the city, flows eastward into the Yamen Waterway and flows out to the sea. The Xijiang River runs through the eastern edge of the city. There are islands such as the Chuanshan Islands along the coast. The municipal government is located at No. 1 Baisha Avenue West, Pengjiang District. Jiangmen has a long history and profound cultural heritage. The Five Counties culture and overseas Chinese culture are unique and charming. It is known as the Chinese Overseas Chinese Capital and is also one of the representative cities of Cantonese culture.
Origin of the name: From the late Yuan Zhizheng period to the early Ming Hongwu period (about 1360-1370), a commercial market was formed on the west bank of Jiangmen Sea where Yishui (Xijiang River) exited, called Jiangmen Market, hence the name.
Because Jiangmen is located at the confluence of Xijiang River and its tributary Pengjiang River, Yandun Mountain in the south of the river and Penglai Mountain in the north of the river face each other like a gate, hence the name Jiangmen.
