  2. Greetings from Singapore!! Just found your channel and subscribed. Love your contents! We have only been to London Uk in 2018, our first time ☺️

  3. Who knew that one person could make such a difference in the world in so many ways. People need to take their lives seriously. Henry was a madman! Thanks for this video. Who knew he would have lost the castle. I believe the Asters lost their lives on the Titanic.this was excellent!! The gardens are stunning!

  4. Great videos. I love your historical commentary and your choice of music. Music is not too loud as well. I never have to adjust my volume between music and commentary. Bravo!

  5. I hope I fulfill this dream on my dream wish list before my arthritis kicks in

  6. Thank you. As a ( retired ) Medieval Historian, I have visited Hever many, many times, but always a pleasure to see it once again. I particularly enjoyed the tour of the garden area`s – didn`t always have sufficient time to look at them. The Italian Garden is superb in every way – and the cascade water walk is jolly super too, home to quite a number of aquatic birds – delightful 🙂
Once again, thank you, another of your well produced and interesting tours – top shelf !!

  7. I came across your channel by accident . Coincidentally I visited Hever in 1991 when I was studying in the UK. This video brought back great memories of my visit to the wonderful place

  8. beautiful video of a wonderful place, thanks for uploading this video…..this has to be one of the best , if not the best, gardens in the UK.

  9. You state that Henry married Anne in a secret ceremony on 1 June 1533. That is incorrect; the secret marriage took place in JANUARY 1533—right abour the time Anne would have realized she was pregnant. There may have been a previous ceremony as well, in late 1532. Henry did have Anne crowned queen on 1 June 1533, by which time she was six months pregnant, and any "secret" marriage ceremony would have been pretty impossible.

  10. What a wonderland, I can see why it would take 4 years to build. A day wouldn't be enough to get around it all. Thank you once again. =-)

  11. Had no idea there was so much going on at Hever Castle. Another excellent presentation, we are so impressed by such a professional presentation. Funny, when you showed an overview of the grounds and all the pick nick benches I said I'm sure that can't be a NT property, as there would be only 3- seats if you were lucky!! It was lovely to note all the benches for enjoying such a great day out. I even learnt some things about poor Anne that I didn't know before. (My only slight gripe was I found the music a little competitive in this one!)

  12. Do we lament historic misogyny or celebrate it. Because watching some of these films gives me great pause to wonder.

  13. Really must visit this castle now, the childhood home of one of the most fascinating women in history.

  14. Wonderful job. Lovely parkland. Hever castle was on my list as part of our 2023 visit to the UK , but after watching this it is a must!

  15. I came across Anne Boleyn cottage on the way to Hampton palace opposite of the road, it was occupied (the door was slam shut when I was trying to take photo that is how I know 😂) was wondering if you knew the story of the house and how come it is occupied? Will watch this video now, cannot wait to see. Thanks in advance.
