長岡まつり大花火大会 白菊3発 – Japan Nagaoka Fireworks Festival – White chrysanthemum
This is a short video of three memorial fireworks, “Shiragiku” (White Chrysanthemums), from the Nagaoka Festival Grand Fireworks Display held in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture Japan on August 2, 2024.
These fireworks were dedicated to the comrades who died in Siberia by the fireworks maker Seiji Kase, who passed away last year, and are imbued with Kase’s desire to convey the horrors of war and the preciousness of peace through fireworks.
2024年8月2日に新潟県長岡市で開催した、長岡まつり大花火大会より、慰霊の花火 白菊3発のショート動画です。
昨年亡くなられた花火師・嘉瀬誠次さんが、シベリアで亡くなれた戦友に手向けた鎮魂の花火で、花火を通して戦争の悲惨さ、平和の尊さを伝えていきたい嘉瀬さんの想いが込められた花火です。
