丹波篠山の観光：篠山城下町をお散歩・商家町と武家町と近代建築 / Tambasasayama, Hyogo

兵庫県丹波篠山市の篠山城下町をお散歩してみました。篠山城跡の周辺に、商家町（河原町妻入商家群）や武家町（御士町武家屋敷群）の歴史的な町並みがよく残っており、近世の城下町の構造が良くわかります。
1つの町の中で、商家町と武家町の2つの異なる町並みを見ることができ、楽しみながら散策できました。これらの地区は、国の重要伝統的建造物群保存地区（重伝建）に選定されています。また、町役場や裁判所といった近代建築も残っており、新たな用途で活用されていることが印象的でした。
丹波黒豆や丹波栗などの名産品を味わうこともできました。
アクセスは、京都や大阪から車で約1時間です。

We took a walk in Sasayama Castle Town in Tambasasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture. Around the ruins of Sasayama Castle, the historical districts of merchant and samurai towns are well preserved. The structure of the castle town in the early modern period can be clearly seen. 2 different townscapes, merchant and samurai town, remain within one town, and I enjoyed strolling through them. These areas have been selected as a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. It was also impressive to see that modern buildings such as the town hall and the courthouse still remain and are being used for new purposes.
You can also taste specialty products such as Tamba black soybeans and Tamba chestnuts.
It takes about one hour by car from Kyoto or Osaka.
