Photo taken on 16 November 2024 Located in Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture. A long-established company that has been in business since the end of the Edo period, it brews miso and soy sauce. This is not a tie-up or advertisement, but I fell in love with the soy sauce I had at a friend’s house and have been using Yamamo’s light and salty soy sauce for over 30 years. As this is largely a record of my personal travels, comments will be turned off.
