Miyazu Kunda Festival
The Kunda Festival is a Shinto ritual held every year on the second Saturday and Sunday of October in the Kunda district of Miyazu City.
The festival is unique to this fishing town, where fighting portable shrines are carried out on the seashore, and lion dancers dedicate Kagura (Shinto music and dance) and swing swords at Sumiyoshi Shrine.
