【紅葉2024】ぶらり旅 第482回「香川県:大窪寺」-アクセス,駐車場,お遍路,四国,イチョウ,四国霊場八十八ヶ所- Okuboji Temple,Kagawa
ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2024年11月に香川県さぬき市にある「大窪寺」に行きました。
四国霊場八十八ヶ所・第88番札所で、結願の寺。
矢筈山の東側にあり、寺に上る石段脇に「八十八番結願所」の石碑があり、参拝客には感慨深いものがあります。
二天門をくぐると正面に本堂があります。
大師堂の内拝口から地下へ進むと、中には八十八ヶ所すべての本尊があり、お砂踏みができます。
大窪寺は、行基菩薩にはじまり、弘法大師が奥の院の岩窟で修行し中国の恵果阿闇梨（けいかあじゃり）から授かった錫杖を納めて山の窪地に寺を建てたことから寺の名がつきました。
古くから女性の参拝を許していたので、「女人高野」と言われています。

In November 2024, I went to “Okuboji Temple” in Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture.
It is the 88th temple of the 88 Shikoku Pilgrimage and the temple of the final pilgrimage.
It is located on the east side of Yahazuyama, and there is a stone monument with the words “88th Pilgrimage Site” on the side of the stone steps leading up to the temple, which is a moving experience for worshippers.
When you pass through the Nitenmon Gate, you will see the main hall in front of you.
If you go underground from the inner entrance of the Daishi Hall, you will find all the principal images of the 88 temples, and you can step on the sand.
Okuboji Temple was named after Gyoki Bosatsu, and Kobo Daishi built a temple in a depression in the mountain after training in the rock caves of the inner sanctuary and placing the shakujo (a staff) he received from the Chinese monk Keika Ajari.
It has been called “Women’s Koyasan” since women have been allowed to worship since ancient times.
