On the final day of the three-day weekend, a substitute holiday for Culture Day, I walked around the area near Shin-Koiwa Station. I spent a good amount of time exploring the entertainment district on the south side. The area consists of multiple shopping streets that intersect with the main arcade, creating a vibrant community feel. The redevelopment around the station has brightened the area, and it seems like there are more young people now. It’s surprising how much it has changed.
