The Most Fantastic Cafe in Namibia ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฆ vA 152

I ride from Windhoek to Rehoboth, in Namibia, in Africa.
As I exit Windhoek, I meet Elago Nantana, an very friendly man who walked across Namibia, and hitchhiked his way around Southern Africa. His mission in life, helping Namibian men who intend to commit suicide by showing them that life has a lot to offer if you go out there to challenge yourself.
After climbing the hill outside of Windhoek, I stop for lunch in a wonderful padstal where I meet some very friendly French tourists, and where I discover for the first time the wonders of South African cuisine.
Finally, I finish my ride to Rehoboth in a guest house with a very friendly hostess.

  1. Yves…Do you find it the least bit ironic that you consider yourself solitary, when you have 240000 subscribers and perhaps more watching your videos? … We are all with you!

  2. Namibia is very nice with warm people. Wow! you are almost in South Africa. 781 km left. What a journey you've made thus far from France. Just fantastic and impressive. Now , are you riding back or flying back? Agree with that gentleman and yourself, always challenge yourself and respect others on the way; never give up. God put you on this planet for a reason. Don't throw your life or someone else's life away.

  3. I wanted to let you know that my wife and I have been avidly following your journey, watching all your videos from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. We're saddened that your three-year journey is coming to an end, but we're also thrilled to see you nearing the completion of your goal.

Your determination and perseverance in the face of adversity have been truly inspiring. We recall the challenges you faced in Ethiopia, including being attacked, losing your passport, and dealing with a broken bike. Despite these hardships, you persisted.

Your videos have taught us valuable lessons, including:

    1. People are generally kind and willing to help.
    2. Africa is a safe and welcoming continent, contrary to common misconceptions.
    3. Sticking to your goals, even in the face of adversity, is crucial.
    4. Some African countries, such as Kenya, Namibia, and Botswana, are surprisingly developed.
    5. And lastly, your kindness and compassion towards others, as seen in your help towards a Sudanese man, have left a lasting impression on us.

Thank you for sharing your incredible journey with the world!
