伝統を受け継ぐ、繊細で奥深き金箔貼りの職人芸 金箔屋さくだ
金沢で金箔の製造は国内生産の約100％を担い、「金箔の街金沢」として国内外から認知されています。光が透けるほど（1万分の1ミリ）の薄さまで延ばし、触れるだけで消えてしまうほど薄く繊細な金箔を扱う職人技が今もなお生きています。
This project introduces artists, craftsmen, and professionals in Kanazawa, a city where culture has been alive since ancient times, who are sharing their traditional skills and Kanazawa’s history and culture with visitors.
SAKUDA KINPAKUYA, a delicate and profound gold leaf pasting craftsman who carries on the tradition
Kanazawa is responsible for about 100% of the domestic production of gold leaf, and is recognized by visitors from Japan and abroad as “Kanazawa, the City of Gold Leaf.” The craftsmanship of handling gold leaf, which is so thin and delicate that it can be stretched to the limit of 1/10,000 mm (1/10,000 of a millimeter) and disappears just by touching it, is still alive today.
