This Is Where The Accident Happened – Speculating About the November 23rd Mooka Railway Crash

On November 23rd a Mooka RailwayTrain struck a car at an intersection between Nishidai and Moka North Station.

On November 23rd, 2024 a passenger car driven by an 80-year-old woman was struck by a train from Mooka Railway travelling south from Nishidai to Moka North Station. The car was pushed about 100 meters before stopping on a bridge. The driver was unconscious and rushed to the hospital but later passed away. 29 passengers and one train conductor were uninjured.

On the 24th I passed by the site of the accident twice. The rail line is open and the first train I saw was very cautious when crossing that intersection.

As always more facts will come out as the investigation continues

this is where the accident happened yesterday

so you notice that gate goes down first the 80-year-old woman was coming this way

this gate comes down second

I don’t know if that’s a replacement gate it doesn’t look that new so it looks like she didn’t hit the gate

so maybe she was in here and stuck that would have given the train quite a bit of time to slow down though

so I’m not sure or maybe they were very quick about fixing things

actually maybe if you drive over just pops up

anyways yeah so the train would have come through here

hit the car there and drag the car all the way to the bridge

now you can see those cameras are wrecked I bet they show something interesting

they definitely got hit by the car

Looks like they’ve already uh maybe fix the Rocks

unless maybe it just plowed up a high bank.

no it doesn’t look like it plowed up

so it kept being dragged yeah was still being well pushed

looks like here’s where they evacuated the people out of the train

there were 30 people on board including the driver I guess

because I heard 29 passengers and I saw 30 people on board in another news report

car would have stopped right there you can see some broken glass over there

you can also see where this is tramped down I’m guessing that’s where the rescue workers

got to the car the woman was unconscious at the time

transported probably to Haga Hospital over there

and then she passed away

[Earlier in the Morning] Oh he’s slowing down he’s being super cautious now I don’t blame him

yeah he’s being very very very cautious

I mean I don’t know if I was one of the train drivers that probably would get in my head too
