TAGAMI is a local restaurant in a Fuchu-machi neighborhood. It is actually quite popular locally, and even more popular before when it was in a different location. Here, TAGAMI serves up the usual shokudo favorites: curry rice, oyako-don, fried fish set meals… however, their most popular menu item is actually tikka-don, or tuna sashimi marinated and served on top a bed of rice. Like a Japanese version of the Hawaiian poke bowl. Very refreshing. At night, there are slightly more menu items available. Alcohol is also served, as this is a popular watering hole for locals who come for the drinks and some beer snacks. A very common type of popular local shokudo.
