渓流の森 増毛町 Mountain Stream Forest in Mashike Town
増毛町市街地から車で道道546号線で暑寒別岳を目指して約13kmのところ、暑寒別沢野営場があり、その奥に「渓流の森」がある。正面には暑寒別岳をはじめとする山々が連なり、また森の中では川のせせらぎ、野鳥のさえずり、さまざまな花、植物に触れながら自然を楽しむことができる。隣接して暑寒別岳への登山口があり、木造３階建で６０人収容可能な山荘｢暑寒荘｣がある。
Keiryu no Mori is located about 13km inland from the town of Mashike towards the mountain side. In the forest, you can hear the murmuring of the river, the chirps of wild birds, and experience a variety of flowers and plants. There is also a mountain hut called “Shokanso” that can accommodate 60 people, at the trailhead to Mt. Shokanbetsu.
