An evening walk in Saroma, Hokkaido.
Saroma is a town in the central part of the Okhotsk General Promotion Bureau with a population of about 4,800.
It is famous for having the largest brackish water lake in Japan, Lake Saroma.
We started walking at about 3:30 p.m., and it was already quite dark, so we were surprised at how early the sun set.

…in this evening lighting 🌝🌞 everything looks fine ,i like this little town 🏘🏞🏔😊😄,
So peaceful neighborhood walk!
Quite an amazing documentary of what is going on in so many places in Hokkaido. What is the Japanese government policy to support and repopulate these areas?
eu acho bonito ver as cores das folhas nessa época caindo das árvores. sua ideia de filmar nesse horário deu certo, o vídeo ficou muito bom 👍
Thank you so much for uploading this. Saroma is my sister city where I grew up and I always wondered what it was like! It is very similar to my home town; I would like to visit Saroma one day!
