【紅葉2024】桜だけじゃない!!紅葉シーズンもオススメ!!ぶらり旅 第477回「奈良県:吉野山」-アクセス,駐車場,吉野神宮,奥千本,金峯神社,高城山展望台,吉野水分神社- Mt.Yoshino
ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2024年11月に奈良県吉野町にある「吉野山」に行きました。
・吉野山
大峰連山北端約8kmにわたる尾根で桜の名所として有名。
谷や尾根を埋める桜は3万本ともいわれ、4月上旬から下旬が見頃とされる。
麓から下千本、中千本、上千本、奥千本と順に開花し、山を染めていく様子は見事。
この桜は、役行者が金峯山寺を開くにあたり、桜の木に感得した蔵王権現を彫って本尊とし、御神木として保護され、相次ぐ寄進を受けたことを発端とする。
春の淡い桜色とは対照的に燃えるような赤、黄、橙色に染まる秋の吉野山も紅葉のシーズンには山全体が覆われ、とても見事な光景となります。
ロープウェイからの眺めも絶景で、夜はライトアップイベントも楽しめます。
9～11月は秋祭りも盛大に行われ、自然散策と合わせてお楽しみ頂けます。

紅葉：11月上旬～12月上旬
・吉野神宮
明治22年（1889）、明治天皇により創建。
祭神は後醍醐天皇。社殿は昭和7年（1932）の改築で、本殿、拝殿などは全て檜造り。
近代神社建築の代表 作として高く評価されています。
吉水神社から移された天皇像は、後村上天皇が彫ったものと伝えられています。
境内には建武中興の巧臣7人が祀られている摂社3社があります。
拝観時間：午前8時30分～午後5時
駐車場 無料 （午前8時30分～午後5時）

・吉野水分神社
水の分配を司る天水分大神（あめのみくまりのおおかみ）を主祭神に玉依姫命（神像は国宝）以下６柱の神を祀る世界遺産の神社。
子守宮（こもりのみや）ともいい、子授け・安産・子どもの守護神として篤く信仰されている。
豊臣秀吉が子授け祈願をし、その子秀頼を授かったことから、現在の社殿はその申し子である秀頼が慶長9年（1604年）に再建したもので、桃山様式建築の三殿一棟の本殿・幣殿・拝殿・楼門・回廊は国の重要文化財に指定された美しい建築
I would like to introduce some places I went to on a whim.
In November 2024, I went to “Yoshinoyama” in Yoshino Town, Nara Prefecture.
・Yoshinoyama
A ridge that stretches about 8 km at the northern end of the Omine mountain range, it is famous as a famous cherry blossom spot.
It is said that there are 30,000 cherry trees filling the valleys and ridges, and the best time to see them is from early to late April.
The sight of the cherry trees blooming in order from the foot of the mountain, Shimo Senbon, Naka Senbon, Kami Senbon, and Oku Senbon, dyeing the mountain is magnificent.
This cherry tree originated when En no Gyoja carved Zao Gongen, which he had felt in a cherry tree, into the principal image when he founded Kinpusen-ji Temple, and it was protected as a sacred tree and received successive donations.
In contrast to the pale cherry blossoms of spring, Yoshinoyama is also covered in fiery red, yellow, and orange in autumn, and the entire mountain is covered in autumn leaves during the autumn foliage season, creating a magnificent sight.
The view from the ropeway is also spectacular, and you can enjoy light-up events at night.
A grand autumn festival is held from September to November, which you can enjoy along with a nature walk.

・Yoshino Shrine
Founded by Emperor Meiji in 1889.
The deity enshrined is Emperor Go-Daigo. The shrine was rebuilt in 1932, and the main hall and worship hall are all made of cypress.
It is highly regarded as a masterpiece of modern shrine architecture.
The statue of the emperor, which was moved from Yoshimizu Shrine, is said to have been carved by Emperor Go-Murakami.
The shrine grounds contain three auxiliary shrines where seven skilled ministers of the Kenmu Restoration are enshrined.
Visiting hours: 8:30am-5pm
Parking: Free (8:30am-5pm)
However, parking is limited to 1 hour

・Yoshino Mikumari Shrine
A World Heritage site that enshrines Amemikumari no Okami, who controls the distribution of water, as its main deity, Tamayorihime no Mikoto (whose statue is a national treasure), and six other deities.
Also known as Komori no Miya, it is devoutly worshipped as the guardian deity of fertility, safe childbirth, and children.
Toyotomi Hideyoshi prayed for a child and was blessed with a son, Hideyori. The current shrine building was rebuilt by his son, Hideyori, in 1604. The three-building main hall, offering hall, worship hall, tower gate, and corridor are beautiful Momoyama-style buildings that have been designated as important cultural properties by the country.
