Thank you for being here 🙂 In this video, I visited Uchiko-town in ehime prefecture, the 5th prefecture out of my travel through all the 47 prefectures in Japan 🇯🇵

Moving from Uchiko town, where I was fortunate enough to enjoy the annual moon-viewing festival, to Matsuyama. I stopped by Yuge Shrine, an intriguing mountain-top shrine, and then visited the Ishidatami district. The beauty of the terraced rice fields took my breath away. Despite a population of only 300, it’s a land blessed with rich nature, and I’d like to explore more if I have the chance to visit Uchiko again. Then I arrived in Matsuyama, returned to Tokyo once, and then back to Uchiko. I visited the historic Uchiko-za theater and a washi (Japanese paper) factory, which I couldn’t see during my previous stay. I was able to experience the charm of the culture and traditions that are still deeply rooted and passed down in Uchiko. Next, I’ll be heading to Matsuyama city.
