Tsuwano Hori Garden Autumn Leaves Week Event
I heard that they were selling a set of chestnut rice cooked in a hearth and Tsuwano’s traditional taro stew, so I went to check it out.
Unlike usual, all the relevant parties were there, including guides, cooks, and food ticket sales. It felt like a local soup kitchen, and we were naturally welcomed. The leaves were only half gone, but the red of the maples was impressive.

竈だき栗ご飯と芋煮
津和野 堀庭園 紅葉ウイークイベントで
竈で炊いた栗ご飯と津和野伝統の芋煮のセット販売があると聞いて行ってみました。
いつもと違い案内係、炊事係、食券販売など関係者総出で対応されていました。 町内の炊き出しのようで自然に迎え入れてもらえました。
紅葉は半分くらいでしたがモミジの赤が印象的でした。
