[JAPAN Drive] ORORON LINE ALONG SEA OF JAPAN COASTLINE | HOKKAIDO ROAD 106 | DRIVING IN HOKKAIDO
This is a driving video from Wakkanai to Teshio town, Hokkaido, the northernmost of Japan main islands.
The road is often referred to as ‘Ororon Line’. ‘Ororon’ means a seabird that lives on Teuri Island, located in Hokkaido, in the Sea of Japan.
Along the Sea of Japan coastline at sunset, Rishiri Island can be visible from the road, and a view of a long straight road is awesome, especially at sunset.
On the way, Monument of Latitude 45 Degrees North and lots of windmills for wind power are visible on the roadside.
Actually, I recommend taking a longer time to drive the Ororon Line. It is one of popular driving courses in Hokkaido. However, driving there in snowy and windy weather during winter can be hazardous.
Also, I would appreciate it if you could allow me to show a dirty front glass towards the end of the video.
