The Kitayamazaki Coast
The Kitayamazaki Coast have some of the world’s most dramatic cliffs dropping into the sea. I cycled there in 2024 on my trans-Japan bike tour. The hilly terrain is challenging with 3000 meters of elevation gain over 300km from Aomori.
