ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2022年9月に山口県岩国市にある「岩国城」に行きました。

・岩国城
岩国城は、初代岩国藩主吉川広家によって慶長13（1608）年に作られた山城で、眼下を流れる錦川を天然の外堀にし、標高約200mの城山に位置
していました。
三層四階の桃山風南蛮造りでしたが、築城後7年で一国一城令により取り壊されました。
現在の天守は、昭和37（1962）年に再建されたものです。
桃山南蛮造りの天守閣内に、錦帯橋の精密模型、写真、武具や甲冑などを展示しています。
天守閣は展望台になっていて、岩国市街の眺望を楽しむことができます。
入城料：大人270円、小学生120円
開館時間：9：00〜16：45（入館16:30まで）
・岩国城ロープウェー
吉香公園前の山麓駅から、標高約200mの城山の尾根の山頂駅までを約3分で結びます。
吉香公園、錦川と錦帯橋、旧城下町から、遠くは岩国錦帯橋空港、瀬戸内海の島々までの眺望が楽しめます。

I would like to introduce some places I went to on a whim.
I went to Iwakuni Castle in Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture in September 2022.

・Iwakuni Castle
Iwakuni Castle is a mountain castle built in 1608 by the first lord of Iwakuni, Yoshikawa Hiroie. It was built on a castle mountain at an altitude of about 200m, with the Nishiki River flowing below as a natural outer moat.
It was a three-story, four-story Momoyama-style Nanban-style castle, but was demolished seven years after its construction due to the One Castle per Province Act.
The current castle tower was rebuilt in 1962.
Inside the Momoyama-style Nanban-style castle tower, a precise model of the Kintai Bridge, photographs, weapons and armor are on display.
The castle tower is an observation deck, from which you can enjoy the view of Iwakuni city.
Admission fee: 270 yen for adults, 120 yen for elementary school students
Opening hours: 9:00-16:45 (entry until 16:30)
・Iwakuni Castle Ropeway
It takes about 3 minutes to travel from the base station in front of Kikko Park to the summit station on the ridge of Shiroyama, about 200m above sea level.
You can enjoy views of Kikko Park, Nishiki River and Kintai Bridge, the old castle town, and even Iwakuni Kintai Bridge Airport and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea.
