It’s the long-missed Tenjin! Tenjin was one of the first few places where I came to know and love Fukuoka! After nightfall, the bustling Tenjin remains vibrant under the brilliant lights, radiating charm.
49:09 this signage was extremely important!!! Without this signage, it’s highly possible that I would enter the wrong entrance when trying to get to Hakata station.
Regrettably I will miss both the grand opening of One Fukuoka Building and the completion of the Fukuoka Airport International Terminal expansion for my trip next year. But I will definitely return in the near future! After all, I had visited a few other cities in Asia, yet somehow only Fukuoka seems to have a unique charm that made me feel incredibly at ease right away, even with the language barrier.
