  8. I live in a village down the road from Corbridge and it is a lovely place for a day out. Just to say when I was a kid (many moons ago) there were none of those independent shops and it wasn't really a tourist destination. I don't think it is better or worse than it was in the 1970's but I think the locals miss the two butchers, the fishmonger, the Ironmonger (ask your grandparents 🙂 the public library and the old style bakery called Chaffey's that made the best Mince Pies ever (not biased at all). What hasn't changed is the buses getting stuck on Middle street when there are any stationary vehicles along there at all!

    Very nice video, makes me realise how much we take for granted living around here and your editing and narration was first class.
