Cape Shiriya-zaki Lighthouse (尻屋崎灯台). There are grazing horses. The breed of Kandachime (寒立馬).
I walked for 11 hours this day. And all the way on paved roads.

The entrance to the lighthouse is closed by a gate from 5pm to 7am, no vehicles allowed. The bus route is now closed. The only way to see the scenery at this time of day is to walk like an idiot and stay in the field quietly. I have the wonderful evening view all to myself, and the next morning I have it all to myself as well.
In addition to the summer heat from the asphalt, there were several sections where the route was swarmed by a great number of horseflies and gnats (I felt like I was being “attacked”).
But it was worth it.
