西条まつりは、江戸時代から続く西条市の伝統的な秋祭りです。
五穀豊穣を神に感謝する神事で、伊曽乃（いその）神社、嘉母（かも）神社、石岡（いわおか）神社、飯積（いいづみ）神社の4つの神社の例祭の総称です。
西条まつりで最大規模を誇る伊曽乃神社祭礼は、例年10月15日午前2時頃からの「宮出し」に始まり、10月16日午後6時頃の「宮入り」まで2日間にわたって行われます。
この祭礼は、だんじり・みこし合わせて80台余りの屋台が繰り広げる豪華絢爛なお祭りです。
The Saijo Festival is a traditional autumn festival held in Saijo City since the Edo period.
This is a ceremony to thank the gods for a good harvest, and is the general name for the annual festivals of the four shrines: Izono Shrine, Kamo Shrine, Ishioka Shrine, and Iizuko Shrine.
The Isono Shrine Festival, the largest of the Saijo Festivals, takes place over two days, starting with the “miyadashi” (entering the shrine) at around 2 am on October 15th and ending with the “miyairi” (entering the shrine) at around 6 pm on October 16th.
This festival is a spectacular extravaganza with over 80 floats, including danjiri and mikoshi.
西條祭是從江戶時代就開始舉辦的西條市的秋季傳統祭典。
這是感謝神明五穀豐登的儀式，是伊曽乃神社、嘉母神社、石岡神社、飯積神社四個神社每年例行祭典的總稱。
伊曽乃神社祭禮是西條祭中規模最大的祭典，從 10 月 15 日凌晨 2:00 左右的「宮入」儀式開始，到 10 月 16 日午後6 點左右的「宮入」結束，為期兩天。
