   I walked from Kyoto Station to Nishiki Market Entrance.
   It took me about 40 minutes on foot. It’s a long video, so
   I sped up & skipped the part of walking along the same big road.
   I walked the easiest way to get the market entrance.

   Konichiwa Tomoko! It's great to hear that you will challenge yourself to read an English book! Pachinko was very popular here in Canada, and much of the television series of Pachinko was filmed here in Toronto. I hope you and your mom are doing well! 🤗😁

   Konnichiwa Tomoko!! More exciting adventure time with Tomoko. Tomoko is in great shape, so be careful if you walk with her. Go Tomoko!
   Adding the music was a nice touch Tomoko. I hear Kyoto is a must see place to visit in Japan. I think you know where all the good ice cream is everywhere in Japan Tomoko LOL. Lovely video Tomoko and you looked great as always. Arigato for sharing your trip Tomoko.

   When I visited Kyoto for the first time, I tried to get to Nishiki Market from Shijo Station (about a 10min walk) and got a little disorientated. I asked a nearby shop clerk for directions, and the customer beside me said something like "Nishiki Market? I'm going there next, I'll show you the way!" and we walked there together while chatting despite my poor Japanese, haha. She was so kind! It's a memory I'll never forget ☺

    So funny we were there in May and yes I do love the city of Kyoto with the surrounding of the mountains too!!!! 👌🏻
    We walked all day like that around Kyoto the best way don’t worry about buses!!!!😄👍🏻

    Last time I was in Kyoto I walked from Kyoto Eki to Kinkakuji then to Ginkakuji, then to Nijojo and back to Kyoto Eki with only a tourist map. There have not been Google Maps, eg. The goal was to see the daily life of the people of Kyoto and some unknown shrines. I have also had some good conversations (in Japanese) with some locals because everyone were thinking that I would be lost. I have shown them where I had been on the tourist map… It was a good walk.

    Tomoko-san thanks for the market walk. I saw the some of the series of pachinko on apple tv. Sad story. That was a cute fuji duck for the onsen btw 🌋 Good wishes to you, and your kazoku.

    Lots of people in the market but on your walk it doesn't seem to be full of tourists 😅, it seems that the visitors are very selective 😂
