箭弓稲荷神社は埼玉県東松山市に1300年以上前からある神社だよ。
平安時代中頃、朝廷の命を受けた源頼信が戦前に戦勝祈願をしたら、空に箭(矢)の形をした白雲がにわかに現れて、その箭は敵を射るかのように飛んで行ったんだって。
頼信はその戦に勝ち、勝利は御神威によるものと信じ、社殿の建て替えを寄進し、野久稲荷を箭弓稲荷と改めて呼ぶように命じたって伝説があるよ。
御祀神は保食神(うけもちのかみ)だよ。
末社の団十郎稲荷は七代目市川團十郎が箭弓稲荷を厚く信仰していた事から文政4年(1821年)の秋、石造りの祠を建立したんだって。
御祀神は宇迦之御魂神(うがのみたまのかみ)だよ。
