In Doi-cho, Shikoku-Chuo City, Ehime Prefecture, the Autumn Festival is held from October 13 to 15 every year. It is a festival to give thanks for the bountiful harvest of five grains, and a float called a “Taikodai” divided into districts is carried by a group of men called “Kakihu”. 愛媛県四国中央市土居町では、毎年10月13日から15日まで秋祭りが行われます。五穀豊穣を感謝する祭りで、地区ごとで分けられた「太鼓台」と呼ばれる山車を「かき夫」と呼ばれる男衆が担ぎあげます。この日はハローズ土居店で5台の太鼓台が集まり、勇壮絢爛な演技で会場を賑わせていました。

I love this, the 5 taikodai look so cool and yes the Kakihu are so brave carrying the taikodai with the men on top , thanks for bringing this local japanese festival to us
