Thanks for watching Episode 5! This is from April 2024, during the second week of our family trip.
We were still getting used to the area and figuring out how things work in Japan, but we’re having fun going with the flow. Then, we realized that Nagaizumi Town, Whanganui’s sister city, was super close to our treehouse stay! Of course, we had to check it out, so we popped in without an appointment.
Finding places to stay has been the biggest challenge! We’re using apps to search, but when that doesn’t work, we end up using Google Maps and making a bunch of calls…😭

まだまだ土地勘がなかったり、日本のサービスに不慣れの中、行き当たりばったりでの旅を楽しんでいます。
そんな中、なんと私たちの住むワンガヌイ市の姉妹都市である「長泉町」が、ツリーハウスの宿のすぐ近くに位置している事に気づきました！それは、行ってみなくては！とアポ無しで訪問してみました。
旅中で一番の難関は、宿探し！宿探しはアプリで探しています。見つからない時はGoogle Mapで検索して、電話を掛けまくります…😭
