  1. Toshi!!!!!!! I will see you soon for beer!🍺😖🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 強さと名誉

  2. The drinking ban in Shibuya means that just like teenagers/young adults, people of all ages will get drunk before they go out… or go to other places. These places in turn will get bans. Then people will got o other cities… that's what happens here! You can attempt to stop crime, but you cannot stop fun.

I hope the ESTA and tax-free shopping gets incorporated into the Visit Japan web/app. It seems like just another difficulty to arrange for when travelling. Every country is going for this ESTA, DID, NZTD… all separate online documents for each country when entering, leaving, even transiting. I will be filling out 6 of these documents for my trip. I pity those who have multiple transit airports, they aren't even going airside and have forms just to sit at a gate and wait for a plane.

  3. Hi so I can't find anything on the japanese esta. Will I need it for early October 2024?

  4. Hello! Whats the difference between ESTA and Welcome to Japan imigration form?

  5. Does the ESTA requirement apply to Americans? I know we're visa exempt for less than 90 days

  6. Great update about tax-free shopping. Now stores do not have to wrap purchased tax-free items in secured bags, and travelers can now arrange these items in their luggage more neatly without worrying about opening the bags. 👍

  7. 2 days ago I spent 2.5 hours standing in line for immigration at Haneda airport. My flight landed in early in the morning. I wonder if that's normal.
If anyone plans to do a layover trip, please prepare a few hours of lining up to get your passport stamped.
That was the flaw. The rest of the trip was lovely. Japan is awesome.
    Thanks for the video.

  8. We're here in Japan now. Landed in Osaka, been to Hiroshima, Nara and Kyoto. Tomorrow take shinkansen to Tokyo. Japan is awesome 👌 👍🥳
Will say konnichwa if we see you Toshi.

  9. 1 I hope the weather will be on my side and that at the end of October I will be able to admire the momiji in Nikko, Shirakawa and on Mount Kurama. I hope autumn is a little late T_T
2 I will also go to Osaka and Mount Koya. And here are new taxes popping up T_T
3 VERY IMPORTANT Please a video about ESTA System asap. I will be in Japan from October 21st to November 3rd.

  10. Hello! I plan to visit Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka in mid to late November this year, mainly to watch autumn colours. I know it won’t peak that time but I can see some autumn colours that time?
    Thanks!

  11. Sadly the app is not formatted to work on iPads. You can only see 1/2 of the screen at a time.

  12. Thank you for your very interesting informations about Japan. We will visit Japan for the first time from November to December and I am still searching for as much informations as possible. We still hesitate to buy the Japan Rail Pass as it seems quite expensive to us. Buying single tickets seems to be a better deal. What do you recommend?

  13. Thank you Toshi-san for the useful info! Visiting Japan covering the alpine route end next week 😊 hope the weather is cooling off.

  14. Oh man, wish I knew you did tours sooner. Would have been nice to hang out when I was in Japan back in August. Perhaps another time Toshi ^_-

  15. Im confuse about the tax free will this become effective immediately or will it take time??? Im flying in late November

  16. Hi, i got a tourist visa for my travel in October 2024. Do i need to enter details in Esta system? Please let me know.

  17. Thanks a lot, this was really helpful! Very sad the new rules for shopping won't be implemented until 2025, since I'll be leaving Osaka in November this year. And those bags can make packing more of a challenge. ^_^
