松山湿原 美深町 Matsuyama Marsh Mibuka Town
北海道の美深町にある松山湿原は標高797ｍ、広さ25ヘクタールの高層湿原。1975年に北海道自然環境保全地域に指定されている。また生物多様性の観点から重要な湿地を保全することを目的に設けられた「日本の重要湿地500」の一つとしても選定されている。湿原内には高山性の植物が群落を成しており、丈が低い矮性アカエゾマツやハイマツが分布している。またコケ植物15種、シダ植物20種、双子葉植物139種、単子葉植物22種、ラン科3種の植物が確認されている。松山湿原は美深町の主要な観光資源の一つであり以前は近隣の仁宇布駅まで宗谷本線から国鉄美幸線が通じていたが1985年に廃止されている。現在は仁宇布までのバスは運行されているが、その先の松山湿原までの公共交通機関は無い。徒歩ではバスを降りてから1時間半から2時間、車では天竜沼駐車場までの道がある。そこから山頂付近まで登山道が片道約900ｍ。天竜沼、えぞ松沼、つつじ沼、はいまつ沼がある。
Matsuyama Marsh in Bifuka Town, Hokkaido, is located at an altitude of 797m and covers an area of 25 hectares. Trees include red spruce and Japanese stone pine, and 199 species of plants have been identified, including mosses and ferns. It was designated a Hokkaido Nature Conservation Area in 1975. It has also been selected as one of the “500 Important Wetlands of Japan.” Matsuyama Marsh is one of Bifuka Town’s main tourist attractions, but unfortunately there is no public transportation to get there. It is a 1.5 to 2 hour walk from the nearest bus stop. If you drive by car, there is a road that leads to the Tenryu Numa parking lot. From there, there is a hiking trail that is about 900m one way to the summit.
