【4K Japan Walk】Kashima Jingu Shrine | Walk through one of the best power spots in the Kanto region
This time’s walk area is Kashima Shrine in Kashima City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
Kashima Jingu Shrine is said to have been founded in the first year of Emperor Jimmu (660 BC) in ancient documents. Until modern times, only three shrines were called “Jingu”: Ise Jingu, Katori Jingu, and Kashima Jingu. It is the headquarters of the approximately 600 Kashima Shrines throughout Japan, which is unique in terms of its pedigree and length of history.
Due to its rich history, Kashima Jingu Shrine is known as one of the most powerful power spots in the Kanto region, and is said to have the blessings of improving your luck in competitions, praying for victory, marriage, and praying for safe childbirth.

松尾芭蕉の句碑がありましたね。芭蕉もここを訪れたんですね。まだ暑い中の撮影お疲れ様でした。
