On this three day trip we’ll travel from Tokyo to Kyoto, making a stop at scenic Hakone between the two. We start among the skyscrapers of Shinjuku and then explore the sights and natural beauty of Hakone. Then it’s on to Kyoto to walk through the historical and charming Gion district. Finally we end with a hike and luxurious kawadoko meal in the verdant Kurama and Kibune area in the mountains to the north of Kyoto before visiting legendary Kiyomizudera and heading home. Along the way we utilize two different discount passes to save money, the Odakyu Hakone Freepass and the Kyoto Osaka Sightseeing Pass (Greater Kurama and Kibune Area).
*Please not that at the moment (September 2019), the Hakone Ropeway is closed and substitute buses operating instead. Please check latest information on website: https://www.hakoneropeway.co.jp/foreign/en/

Great itinerary. Btw, Hakone Open Air museum has a good collection of (less known) Picasso's art works, Henry Moore's and Carl Milles sculptures.

I live in Tokyo. I recommend Shibuya, Harajuku, and Ginza. I have been to Hakone, definitely worth going for 2-3 days. I have been to Kyoto 6 times. I recommend renting a kimono for about 35-50 USD and walking around with a friend.
I remember stopping off in Tokyo on a flight to the USA a few years ago. I didn't enjoy it one bit – the place was absolutely infested with Japanese – I mean, they were everywhere! None of them spoke English, and I had to shout at them to make myself understood. Never again!!
Team Canon baby……
The music doesn't seem to fit the content.
Motohakone looks like itomori from the anime kimi no na wa

Thank you sir
i love kyoto, there are so many buddhist statues
Great vid…but annoying music..I really hate this grandiose sounds over imageries that need none of these to appear impressive and majestic…
Very beautiful city.
Before travelling to Korea ,please check the radioactive contamination map of Korea
Excellent editing…video cuts are synchronized with music!
You are short like Japanese.
Love Japan
Rather good stuff. Thank you.
Much narration in the plural, but I only see one person. Puzzling.
🔴🔴🔴Hello, please all subscribe to my channel 🙏🏻🔴🔴🔴
Nice informative video .. looking forward to visit !
Thanks !
This whole video was in itself an iconic experience ✨
I think a longer vid would have been better. Everything seemed so rushed….no time to enjoy it. I like a walk through….seeing the shops and markets. Seemed like you were on a bus or train the whole time you weren't in the woods.
really loved the short hike between Kibune-Kurama and the friendly people we met along the way. thanks for the nostaglia!
We love what you make and hope that we can come to japan. Because we want to travel the world again. https://youtu.be/ACQXCvVdLZQ
Please do more (and longer) videos! Please consider a visit to Ise Jingu too!

There is so much to see in Kyoto. If you really want to experience Kyoto stay there for at least 4 days.
Back in 2020 I was about to go to Japan on May 27th for two weeks with my dad a present from my birthday in October but then it got cancelled due to the pandemic.😒
Fantastic, how much money do you spent? To have an idea
