Teshikaga is a town with a population of about 6,700 in the Kushiro region of eastern Hokkaido.
Around Teshikaga Town, there are many famous sightseeing spots in Hokkaido such as Lake Kussharo, Lake Mashu, and Kawayu Onsen(Hot Spring), which are visited by many tourists.
This time, I took a walk in the center of Teshikaga town from Mashu station, which is the central station of the town.

I was excited to see this many half-timbered houses. And the river floating through the town made everything feel so peaceful!

…and also here a staggering amount of abandoned commercial and residential buildings…they bring down even an otherwise decent community, it is sad, but with the current immigration policy in Nihon…good luck with the revitalization of those dying regions…😢😕😖(it won't happen)
