奥入瀬渓流は十和田八幡平国立公園内に位置しています。十和田湖の子の口（ねのくち）から下流の焼山（やけやま）までの14kmの区間が奥入瀬渓流と呼ばれています。
渓流沿いには道路が走っており、観光用のバスが走っています。ビューポイントにはバス停があり、バスでの観光も楽しめます。渓流には遊歩道が設けられており、マイナスイオンを浴びながらの散策をしながら渓流美を満喫できます。
散策の拠点は駐車スペースが多い、下流エリアの「石ヶ戸休憩所」が良いでしょう。
下流側から「紫明渓」「三乱の流れ」「阿修羅の流れ」「雲井の滝」「銚子大滝」などが見どころとなっています。
The 14km stretch from Nenokuchi at Lake Towada to Yakeyama downstream is called the Oirase Geyser.
There is a road running along the stream, and sightseeing buses run along it. There is a bus stop at the viewpoint, so you can enjoy sightseeing by bus. There is a promenade along the stream, where you can enjoy the beauty of the stream while taking a stroll and soaking up the negative ions.
