  2. Wow.. The dishes..especially the saba fish & pork dishes got my saliva drooling…

  3. Great video! Where do Japanese people live in Singapore, it used to be around Liang Court but I heard that is not the case anymore? It there a Little Japan in Singapore like China Town?

  4. 9:43 I visited Nakano BC's factory when I visited Wakayama last year in January! Made my own umeshu there too. 😀 Their Temari umeshu are smaller bottles and there's many different flavours which made them perfect as gifts.

  5. I was there dine with my friends last week. Had the Shoga Yaki and Wow! It was amazing! Tender pork and great sauce! The chef did a great job! The Seasonal 🌰 rice and the black vinegar Chicken was delicious too! The rice is one of a kind. The miso soup beats most of the other restaurants too! Great texture and taste! Must try!
    Thumbs Up 👍👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐
    Nice n' Cozy Ambience

  6. ahh!! this is one of my absolute favourite restaurant in Jewel! have not found the chance to dine in again since covid hits …….everything is delicious there!

  7. Nagano's prefecture's specialized in pork? So many nice pork dishes. And cod's good in a english fish and chips… And the Opera might taste good with the ice cream.

  8. Went there yesterday after watching the review. The food was alright, the plating was well done, but there are quite a number of areas that could be improved.

    1. Green tea latte – It comes in a large glass cup. It's nice and uses creamy milk, but they could consider offering it at a smaller cup too. Saw a table with a half drank glass and it is kinda of too much for one serving unless you are going to sit there for hours.

    2. BBQ Iberico pork with pepper and sesame – The pork is served first and the rice and soup is served later after a few minutes. While the waiter has informed us, they should serve all together, else customer have to all look at the pork but can't do anything as utensils were not given.

    3. Curry chicken – Can't choose the spiciness of the curry which could be because it is pre-cooked. While the curry is ok, the chicken should have been cut into smaller pieces since only a spoon is given. Each piece of chicken could easily be cut into 3 pieces.

    4. Usually in most Japanese restaurants of a similar nature, ice cold water is served, but not in this case.

  9. Omg why i didn't saw this one when I visited singapore 😭
