【法要】涅槃会 nehane

2023年3月15日 ＠三井寺 金堂

3月15日(陰暦の2月15日)はお釈迦様が入滅されたと伝わる日です。
この日、娑羅双樹の下で臥すお釈迦様のまわりに弟子達、諸菩薩、諸天、動物や虫までもが集まり入滅を悲しむ様を描いた #涅槃図 を掲げ、お釈迦様の遺徳を追慕し報恩の誠を捧げる法要が催されます。

March 15th (February 15th in the lunar calendar) is said to be the day Buddha passed away.
On this day, memorial services are held to remember the Buddha and repay his kindness.
It is held under the “Nirvana painting”, which depicts the state of disciples, bodhisattvas, animals and insects gathering around Buddha lying under the twin trees.
