Too bad the city's misguided attempt to "clean up" the area have made the RLD less interesting and seems to have resulted in fewer girls and tourists. It used to be thronged with tourists and girls. The atmosphere seemed livelier.
Misleading title, I thought it was info about red light district when in fact it's about a Viator travel tour guide dancing in a window pretending to take his clothes off.
On the way back from Sweden I stayed a week in Amsterdam I love Central station and the food is so so good also the people are very friendly and the museums are beautiful and the canals everything is very safe there I stayed at the Omni what a beautiful beautiful buffet all day and all night long all wonderful wonderful exquisite food I had a lot of fun I brought one of my patients with me he was a quadriplegic from Rhode Island he had never been out of the country so he had a marvelous time of course at that time I didn't know really what coffee shops were but I soon found out of course he knew again I would love to go there again sometime it was just a wonderful wonderful time in my life that I was able to do this if you get to go enjoy yourself the people are very friendly
Also I really like Central station walking around it's safe it's good to have somebody with you Santa Claus is out year round people with children they just loved it the adults loved it too pigeons flying everywhere but fun and the canals are so beautiful I hope I know they are for handicapped people when I went to worry we're not handicap accessible so my friend could not go on but other than that we had wonderful restaurants to go to just everybody was so wonderful and nice enjoy
