Hello Kevin, sorry if it seems that this question came out of nowhere, but do you have plans covering any mainland Chinese carriers any time soon? I recently flew with Air China from IAD to PEK and back and had a really mixed experience. The food was horrendous, there were very limited drink options. The personal entertainment system was outdated and slow. However, the seats were fairly comfortable and there were enough films to keep me from getting bored throughout the flight. I am just curious if you have any such plans, given your extensive coverage of Asian carriers, and it is totally fine if you do not plan do so any time soon.

Used SQ for the previous 10 years, average 10 flights a year, covid period apart. My last 8 flights where not good dreadful service on 2 in particular. I have switched to the One world alliance, I have lots of Kris flier miles so will possibly use them again… But there are better options out there… Good review though 👍

I would have to guess that the 32 inch measurement online is for the internationally configured A350's.

Indeed! ANA miles is insane 😓 I flew Philippine Airlines Business class back in 2022 using ANA miles and the charge fee i paid for about $600 weather economy or business class charge fee is the same 🤦🏻

I only just discovered your channel, and I'm so glad – your manner and lack of ego (a problem with so many travel bloggers) is so refreshing. I agree with your comments about SQ's Economy seat – at first glance it seems really good but the legroom is really strange, and you get uncomfortably pretty quickly. It's such a shame.
Regarding the story about the clueless vegetarian passengers, that's why I love Asian airlines, service is impeccable even if the people involved don't deserve it. If this was an American airline, they would point to the exit door, if you don't like what we're offering, there's the door
Kudos on another excellent review. It must be challenging to do an Economy Class review compared with Business/ First Class.
Qatar Airways seems to get very strong reactions one way or the other. Other YT channels liken it to Darth Vader Airways while in contrast others like yourself at least give the Q Suites very high marks.
U should do KLM economy class. I took them a week ago from Singapore to Bali. Horrible service. Rude cabin crew..it was unbelievable. It was a short flight just over 2 hours. I was cold during the flight and they wouldn’t give a blanket because it was a short flight they said. So people dont get cold on a short flight? 😂 and they didn’t have pillow either. After watching this video, even SQ gives pillow on a short flight, and im sure they would give a blanket. So no excuse for KLM. I also asked for a hot tea during the meal service and they wouldn’t serve it😂 note that there was no turbulence and the seatbelt sign was off. They just didn’t care about the customers and wanted to get the flight over with.

Great video as always Kevin. Was on Y in SQ’s regional A359 last year and couldn’t believe the legroom — the same CL3710 in their B78X seemed to have a bit better pitch.
SQ 787-10 has so much more leg room, glad you've called out the SQ A350's leg room….it's Scoot'esque
Great video…I’m looking forward to my October flight on SQ from LAX to SIN in premium economy. The budget doesn’t stretch for business, but it should still be reasonably comfortable…even for such a long haul flight. I’ve flown AA in premium economy from LAX to HKG and been comfortable.
Showing the safety video is more meeting a legal requirement than actual safety! In an emergency don't think majority of people will remember what to do, they just follow the next person even if they are wrong! It's like in the heat of the passion – you forget is it the bra or the panties that come off first, belt or the fly! LOLLZZZZ
Singapore Airlines is my favourite airline for the consistency of their quality product! However I have never had an issue with their legroom!

I am glad you like the cardboard boxes for meals in economy. But I think they are terrible. SQ needs to bring back the foil covered plastic food trays. No more cardboards.
SQ’s economy on the A350 in particular, is terrible. Especially for the price paid…
On a separate note, I was on SQ premium economy last spring and witnessed a guy sneaking into PE from the regular economy to join his traveling companions. Flight attendants didn't notice it, and I didn't bother to tell them…

I love your videos! I also try a bunch of airlines every year but I always fly Singapore Airlines at least once per year. I have to agree that they are really consistent in terms of service and all that. I always recommend SQ to everyone. Cheers to more travels!
Very good review. I flew the SQ a359 (medium haul) from SIN-CAN and the experience was very good. The in flight map displays innovative features including latitude and longitude, bearing, date of flight, tail registration number, flight no, tail wind and population of the nearest city. As well it displays the current times in all other cities around the world.
Downs; unfortunately, the flight doesn’t have Live TV onboard the plane. Only the long haul and ULR A350 have the Live TV.
At least I was able to survive without live TV.
Fun fact: the SQ A359 (ultra long haul and long haul) have the Panasonic ex3 (which has live tv) while the medium haul runs under Thales Avant Up entertainment system.
All airlines charge much much more for non stop flights. Then on top of that home country origin is always the most expensive. Dubai to London on Emirates and Doha to London on Qatar is more expensive than Singapore to London on either of the airlines despite being double the distance.
