Lounge Hopping at Washington's Dulles Airport



Washington’s Dulles Airport is full of some of the best international business class lounges anywhere. As the gateway to – and from – our nation’s capital, foreign flag carriers put their best foot forward for passengers…even now.

Lounge Hopping is one of my favorite pastimes. Jumping from business class lounge to business class lounge, especially at Washington’s Dulles Airport, is a fantastic way to spend a day.

In this video, we’ll check out three of the best business class lounges at Dulles Airport. You’ll visit the Lufthansa Senator Lounge, the Turkish Airlines Lounge, and the Air France-KLM Lounge.

We’ll check out the food on offer, the available drinks, and even the views from these exclusive clubs at Dulles Airport.

But, perhaps best of all, I’ll share exactly how you can enter lounges just like these all over the world usually reserved for VIP’s no matter your airline, class of service, or destination.

    Priority Pass is how we accessed the Turkish lounge in 2017 when connected at Dulles from Paris to Atlanta. We were flying business from Paris and really enjoyed the Air France lounge at CDG but we were in economy on a separate itinerary from IAD-ATL so we didn’t have any lounge access from our flight. I was really impressed with the Turkish lounge and would love to check out the Lufthansa lounge!

    Did the same thing a week ago when I was traveling from Greensboro NC. To Buffalo NY. I have visited the Turkish lounge a couple of years ago and I always wanted to come back. Do you live in GSO?

    I've only been to one lounge, the business lounge at Tirana. I don't remember how we got there, but it's actually pretty good for a tiny airport in the balkans.

    Another fun thing for me when I travel is doing at least one or two complete circuits on the tram, people mover or train at the airport that goes through all of the terminals. Just to see the views and take photos.

    I’m going to try to lounge hop at IAD. I have the Priority Pass Select with my Hilton Honors Amex ($99 af) (10 visits a year). I also have elite one world status.. Do any of these acknowledge one world alliance?

    Heads up people Dulles Airport is Northern Virginia, not DC, approximately 45 mins south west of the DC city limits. Also, it is (DC) not Washington, get your information correct please… You don't fly from Washington to Washington you idiots… 🙄

    Whenever I see anything about Dulles I can't help but think of Airport 1975 and Gloria Swanson riding in a mobile lounge with Mr. Roper and Frank Costanza.

    I work at Dulles, I am excited to see the airport busy again and am anxiously waiting for all restrictive rules to be gone and we get back to full service.
