Sapporo 2021 Evening Walking Tour – Hokkaido Japan [4K/Binaural]



This video starts from JR Sapporo station and takes to various tourist spots including Sapporo Clock Tower, TV Tower. and the iconic Nikka signboard at Susukino. We will walk not only on the ground-level streets but also an underground street which is the Japan’s 3rd longest underpass. Trivia: Oops! I visited Sapporo Clock Tower twice in one video! Do you know the reason why? I shot a video on the first day and another video on the 2nd day walking almost the same route. First video was originally intended as a test walk and the I wanted to use the 2nd one to upload to YouTube but I didn’t know the stores and restaurants would close and the famous Nikka neon sign would go out at 8PM just like Tokyo. So I decided to combine the 2 videos. Unintentionally both contain the Sapporo Clock Tower scenes and that’s why you see it twice in this video. Sorry. But can you tell which shot is the first one and which shot is the 2nd one?

    Ok, in the video, the first take of the clock tower corresponde to your trial walk. The doors are open and it it lighted inside because you walked earlier. The second take of it, corresponds to your second walk, later, as the bell sounds eight times, for 8;00 p.m., and the door's are closed and the lights are off. 🙂 Also, there's less traffic and people on the streets.
    Am I right? 🤔
    In relation to the rest of the video, it amazes me how you can predict so precisely the places I would pay attention to, if I were there. OK. Maybe they are landmarks and all of us, foreigners, would pay attention to them. But thank you! The Panasonic TV Tower is a mini-Tokyo Tower, so cute. 🥰 The Clock Tower is like a Catholic church, cute and lovely, too. Beautiful kimonos in that shop, and nice izakaya in the alleys. I can undoubtedly say I have fallen in love with Sapporo. Thanks again, Yoshi San. Completely enjoyable night walk. You are the best! ✌️✌️😃

    Man, I remember taking that long underground walkway. Starting from Sapporo Station, all the way to Susukino where we finally found ramen alley. 😋

    I went to Sapporo in winter time, I deliberately walk on ground level from Sapporo station to Susukino enjoying the snow 😁 Sapporo is on the top 5 of my favorite city.

    My favourite pastime when I lived in Sapporo was to just relax and walk aimlessly. My hometown is a congested hellhole so I found Sapporo really therapeutic.

    Sapporo is such a beautiful city,i've seen a few videos of Sapporo,but never found any filming during the night,until now..I must say that I'm amazed by what I saw..I'm planing to visit Sapporo next year,hopefully the restrictions will cease for tourists.

    Seeing Sapporo without snow is surreal. I remember seeing the Clock Tower with 5 feet of snow on the sides of the road. The most amazing view of Sapporo was from the top of Moiwa Mountain. The land covered in snow. Amazing footage, thank you and keep it up! 🙂
