This is NOT a promotional video. I pay for all of my flights and hotels (and I always tell you how much!) so I can be as honest and impartial as possible. I do not receive any special treatment that wouldn’t otherwise be publicly accessible, in fact, the hotels and airlines have no idea about my visit and that’s the way I like it!

  1. Another fantastic review Kevin. I thoroughly enjoyed this, and your humour, well, it's dry as a bone (I love it). I did find at times though, that during your review your speech seemed to be getting quicker, and I had trouble following along at times. I just thought I'd mention it.

  2. Private room is an overhyped lounge. Such a shame. SQ could’ve done better job.
SQ F ground handling remains one of the most basic out there. Heck, you can get a foot massage in the F contract lounge in delhi but not in private room?
How about the fact that they don’t even have lockers? One of the newest highlights of singapore is the jewel. Or heck, perhaps if you’re bougie enough perhaps you want to do some luxury shopping in changi…. You can’t do that without paying $15 to store your luggage in third party storage across the terminal. What a shame. Poor oversight. I can keep going. But that’s all first world problems, so given what’s going on in the world, maybe ought to be grateful.

  3. As a 90s kid, I remember those ribbon ice cream desserts like it was yesterday. 😄Excellent flight report!

  4. I am commenting to you FROM seat 12K on SQ23, the return flight from JFK to SIN. Agree with almost everything you say – my only real annoyance is the screen being remote controlled and not touch screen.

  5. I took exactly seat, 10A, on SQ23 2 years back (SQ23/24) and took premium economy SQ21/22 last month. I missed SQ business class. Hopefully I have saved miles enough to get bussiness class next time. However, I prefer time schedule on SQ21/22 than SQ23/24.

  6. The fishball noodle soup cost $3 and each satay stick cost 70 cents in Singapore 😂😂😂

  7. I always enjoy the extra room offered by the seats in biz, but hate the biz class meals, too fancy. Would rather take an economy class meal while seated in biz.

  8. Yay to satay service! I have the same pet peeve with my elbow constantly clicking either the tray table or the cubby lid next to it.

  9. Great video as always. Consistency for SQ? You bet. That's their main selling point, you know what to expect when you step onboard. Not the case, say, with US carriers. For example, one flight on United could be great, the very next flight with United can be terrible. There is just no consistency whatsoever with them. Not the case with SQ. And you are right, Changi Airport as a whole is essentially one big lounge, they are voted the best airport in the world in many surveys for a reason. But come on, no footage of the Jewel?! That's one of the main highlights of Changi!! And you missed it entirely!!! (Kidding, I know, not enough time to get out of restricted zone and back). As for 18 hours in the air feeling like forever, true, but be honest, would you rather spend 18 hours with SQ in business class or 18 hours on some cut-rate airline economy seat, with tasteless meals, limited entertainment options and tight legroom? 😉

  10. I flew the second longest flight with Singapore from Newark to Singapore and it was honestly the best flight I ever experienced. From amazing Book the Cook food, flight attendants using my name throughout the flight to add a personal touch, and the attentiveness and kindness of the service, it did not feel like an 18 hour flight. I didn’t want to get off when we arrived.

  11. Loved the views at the end of the vid. What an amazingly clear day and you're so fortunate to get clear windows too. Also, the last video with the not so great food, is probably an anomaly as I've flown suites twice and both were pretty awesome. Still inexcusable though, for SQ suites.
