4K HDR 塩竃みなと祭花火大会 Japan Fireworks Show 2023 | Shiogama Port Festival (Minato Matsuri) 塩釜みなと祭前夜祭



This is a video of the Shiogama Port Festival Eve Fireworks Show held at Shiogama Port in Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan on July 16, 2023.
The Shiogama Minato Festival was started in 1948, soon after the war, as a measure to promote the development and revitalization of Shiogama Port and the city.
The highlight of the main festival is the brave Mikosh-togyo, an annual event that takes the deity of Shiogama Shrine, who remains in this area and serves as a guide from the sea, to the sea.
At the eve of the festival, an eve fireworks display will be held where you can enjoy beautiful fireworks at Shiogama Port.
Although it is on a smaller scale than the 10,000 shots fired from 3 barges before the Great East Japan Earthquake, 2 barges will be used to set off a maximum Size 8 shells Fireworks of about 8,000 shots.
This year’s eve of the festival was a beautiful day from the morning, and although it rained briefly before the fireworks display started, we were able to enjoy wonderful fireworks such as star mines and Big shells fireworks under good visibility during the fireworks display.

2023年7月16日に宮城県塩釜市の塩釜港で開催した、塩釜みなと祭前夜祭花火大会の映像です。
塩竈みなと祭は、戦後間もない昭和23年に塩竈港と市勢の発展を促進し活性化を図る策として始められたお祭りです。
本祭では、海からの道案内の役割を果たし、この地に残ったとされる鹽竈神社御祭神の鹽土老翁神（しおつちおぢのかみ）を年に一度海にお連れする行事である、勇壮な神輿海上渡御が見どころとなっております。
前夜祭では、塩釜港を会場に美しい打上花火を観賞できる前夜祭花火大会が実施され、東日本大震災前の台船3台1万発よりは縮小傾向ではあるものの、台船2台を使用し、最大8号玉約8000発の花火が打ち上げられます。

今年の前夜祭は、朝から天候が良い一日となり、花火大会開始前に一時的に小雨がものの、花火打ち上げ中は良好な視界の下でスターマインや大玉連発花火などの素晴らしい花火が楽しめました。
