    When I was leaving Japan after two years you were entering Japan. During that time the Olympics was officially coming to Japan. The famous omotenashi speech was made “o-mo-ten-a-shi omotenashi.”
    My Japanese friend asked me what foreigners will like about japan the most. I said with my hands, “ta🤌-ko-🤌ya🤌-ki, 🫱takoyaki🫲”
    it was my best joke at the time.

    Martina would you please make a tour guide for gluten free restaurants? I have celiac disease and this has always held me back from traveling to Japan (a big dream of mine). I also wonder if you’d do a guide for folks that don’t speak much Japanese. I want to see all the little gems with a more mom and pop feel but I feel like I’d freeze not having any English menus/not being able to speak with staff.
