Portland is one of my all-time favorite New England towns to visit. While popular, it really is under the radar, compared to some other destinations. I enjoyed your video. See you in our travels…
I wanna do some Whale Watching.
Derek is very knowledgeable about Portland.
I am enjoying this video during the quarantine. Thank you!
Such a beautiful place to live. So glad to live here. Folks if possible give Stroud water Distilleries a try. They are at Thompson point. Due to state requirements they have to do takeout only still. Great people and need support. Get a great lunch today.
I'm still shocked that the church is the tallest building in Portland and the tallest in the state. 😕
Want a decent donut go to Tony's.
I find it funny that Portland is the most populated city in two different states, Maine and Oregon
See you soon
Heading there in a few weeks and I'm so excited!
How should I dress in the first week of October?
My favorite town !
I've been watching a ton of Portland, Maine vlogs in the past few days in order to gather some ideas for when I go there soon, and I just wanted to say that your video has been the best of all. Your energy is so great and you're so authentic! Loved the bloopers! Thank you for the video!
i wanna go to portland maine so bad..
What time of year did you make this video? We are heading there this weekend
I went with family May 2018. I live in Utah now, but I'm lucky to have a remote job that might allow us to relocate. Portland is high on my list of possible places. Thanks for such a well done video!
Why ? When you eat drop and pill over you mouth and face like baby.
It’s full of homeless people who are freezing to death
Which restaurant was your favorite? I loved Terlingua's brisket.
Hello, I’m a Texan moving to Waterboro. What’s the name of the Tex-Mex restaurant in the video? Are they actual Texans too?
this should've been called what resurants are good to eat at.
I been through Portland many times going to fun town splashtown in saco because I live in boston area but i haven't really been inside the portland city much but it really looks like a quaint and peaceful version of boston
If you ever make your way back up here, you should check out some digs the locals congregate at! (not that I don't dine at duckfat, yum!) Ruski's is a great comfort food pub in the west end and very easy on the wallet. LongFellow Kitchen (called LFK by the locals) is also a great bar/restaurant. Oh No's for breakfast, and Uncharted Bubble Tea for an afternoon snack. The ice cream on Peaks Island is also a big win. So much food, so little time.
moving to portland soon, this is so helpful! also- do you think shes from texas 🤔
Your editing is top notch, well done!
We'll be moving there from Texas I'm super excited now
Made potatoes are in the holy donut's donuts because you don't need as much flour, which also helps making gluten free versions, and keeps the donut nice and moist on the inside
great video! thanks for all the tips!
This video it's ridiculously well-done!
What Tex Mex restaurant is the Longhorn flag at? Fellow Austinite heading to Portland tomorrow!
You want to get married?
Dope video Ma’am, I’m planning my family trip there this summer and you gave us great ideas for how to properly plan. Thank you!
I was going to drive up to Portland Maine being from Boston but now that I've seen this video I think I'll stay in Boston.
The food looks awesome! We are going this summer. My grandma was born in maine
Awesome recommendations!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Get stuck by a discarded needle, harassed by homeless, step in dog feces, confronted by pan handlers…. and BTW this woman's rendition of a maine accent sucks
Lots of stuff to comment on…. overall a well put together video. My first comment is regarding Bon Appetit naming us the top restaurant city in the country in 2018. We got that well deserved title because we have lots more sensational restaurants that weren’t mentioned in this video. My second comment is the real cocktail bars to visit. Lincoln’s is fun but it’s not a place for foodies, as I am. Instead try “Blythe and Burrows” or the “Hunt and Alpine Club”. To drink with the locals try “Bar of Chocolate”, King’s Head, or for beer, Novare Res. Speaking of beer we were also crowned Craft beer capital of the world by a beer publication, with Tokyo Japan coming in second! The last thing I want to comment on is the pedestrians in the street. The city made a mistake being too lenient. I see people crossing the street as the lights turn and it’s dangerous. When walking our streets please be safe and respectful. Mostly I want to say that Portland is Disneyesque in the sense that it’s a happy place. We love Portland and we love you visiting. A heartfelt welcome!
Love the fact people are bundled up with winter gear and the tour guy is in a t-shirt. All he needed was shorts for a real Mainah look ayuh. As for pedestrians always have the right of way, that's why I never travel Commercial street in the Summer. Portland really need pedestrian bridges or crossing lights. It can take you an hour to drive a tenth of a mile. Everyone just walks out in the road. Someone is going to get killed. Tourist don't pay attention.
Must be nice to be rich… PS. Your soul is ugly.

Hello, there are several videos on Portland but your stands out by a long shot. Your energy & charisma, the editing, music & the list goes on. You present the highlights of the place very well, clean & concise. I don’t know how this doesn’t have millions of views. Either way, don’t stop putting out great content.
The food looks amazing!
Exciting! Glad I watched this even if just to learn about the speakeasy
