Chengdu is the capital of southwestern China’s Sichuan province. Chengdu’s history dates back to at least the 4th century B.C., when it served as capital for the Shu Kingdom.

Artifacts from that dynasty are the focus of the Jinsha Site Museum. The city is also home to the famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a conservation center where visitors can view endangered giant pandas in a natural habitat.

Rich History & Culture
Chengdu is one of the earliest settlement in southwest, with a history traced back to 2400 years ago when the first Shu emperor built its capital here. Retaining its original name ‘Shu’ till nowadays, it has long been an important political, commercial and economic hub of Sichuan.

The province is reputed as the ‘Heavenly State’, or ‘Tian Fu Zhi Guo’ in Chinese, literally a place richly endowed with natural resources. Thanks to excellent irrigation and the abundance of mineral resources, the fertile Chengdu Plain was the center of the ancient Shu Kingdom, forming a brilliant civilization that nourished the place’s deep-rooted cultures and rich heritage.

Historical attractions such as Wenshu Monastery, Wuhou Shrine, Du Fu’s Thatched Cottage Museum, Kuanzhai Alley, Daci Temple, Jinsha Site Museum, each with its fascinating antique beauty and cultural heritage.

Chunxi Road
If one travels to Chengdu for the first time, Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street is a place that should not be missed. Located in Jinjiang District, this road in a broad sense covers an area of about 200,000 square meters (2,150,000 square feet). It stretches to the east of Beixin Street, the west of Hongxing Road, the south of Zongfu Road, and the north of East Street.

The street was originally built in 1924 to connect two commercial centers, the East Street and Mercantile Corporation. After nearly 100 years of evolution, it is now not only the center of fashion in Chengdu, but also a place that brings together delicious snacks from all over the country.

    I dont know if it's just me, but the night seems to fall very fast 😀

    I always love how chineses cities are always so enjoyable during the night, it's as active as it is during the days, maybe even more.

    And always soo much green all around…

    11:10 i though it was a butterfly, but then i saw the little character and i was like "What is this?", then my brain start working again and i remember you said something about fairies at the beginning of the video XD

    24:01 the towers remember me the towaers from another city you show before… i can't remember in wich city, but they were two towers like this with lights and all, i think it's maybe in the city that they were a show with light on the surface of all the tall building near a river. You filmed it 😀

    Thanks for the visit :D, seems like it's a very active city, specially at night. I really like how everything is an excuse to decorations and lights. All the food stand and store open during night. Everybody seems super relaxing and happy.
    I can understand it's the appiest city in China, you got no stress there. If you want todo something, you can do it all day or all night, no need to hurry before something close or else, and all the decorations give lots of life and fantasy to the city.
    i think some cities in the world should copy this style. Many big cities are just plain cement with no decorations or just have advertising and not proper decorations/lights.

    I hope one day you could make a small pictures of a city from far, just to see how it look from a distance out of the city. it must be super big and all the light and all must give a crazy look like if teh city was some kind of giant amusement park from a distance 😀

    以前觉得成都女人还挺好看的。现在看习惯洋妞，再看这些觉得真丑。所以她们靠出奇的打扮和化妆来博彩。身材，外形，那种活力其实差远了。国外洋妞都是最基础的打扮。但魅力比这些不知道大多少。

    95% of Chinese city neighborhoods look like Vietnam Thailand phillipines taiwan Burma southeast Asia slums run down. Very old and dirty. Rotting. Also Chinese cities are like Russian African cities. Chinese cities are empty no stores anywhere. Just apartments and some office buildings.

Essa modernização, num país comunista, é surpreendente, pois são totalmente contrárias aos regimes comunistas de Cuba, Korea do norte e outras. O povo é ordeiro e trabalhador. Sinceramente, é de causar inveja a maioria dos países do mundo. O povo parece-me muito feliz, totalmente ao contrário do que dizem no ocidente.     Ive been to China several times and its the most amazing country on earth, Leader of the World without a doubt. The Chinese People impress in every way possible..
    Europeans disappoint in every way possible. In Europe we have ruin and decay, however we will have cities like this in a few decades after several hundred million vibrant enrichers from africa . LOL..!!! 😁😁😁 China is the wonderful Future. 🥰

    But how is it possible to have a political system Like that of China , the west call it undemocratic ? I still wonder how they can lift approximately 750 million Chinese from poverty in the last 4 decades . The urban development in China has no equals in the world . When you look at second tier cities they are beautiful , their 1st tier cities are futuristic!! How is it possible that China has biggest the industrial output as of 2023 April ? And it’s a dictatorship, they have no concern for humanity ? Abs the citizens are happily enjoying their mother land?? China has not invaded or conquered a country in the recent past ? It has technologies that are changing the way the world functions . The AI is at an advanced level in China ? When you interest your self in their 5G network , it should be at a more advanced stage than most of the Western democracies? Their scientists are very bright and innovative though china steals blue prints of Western countries ‘ , this is another discussion . In all let’s watch china they are unstoppable and they are determined to march all the way to greatness . By 2030 I want to believe China will be the biggest country by GDP…
