But it was still a great experience and the A321LR is a super piece of kit I’d love to fly on to the States when it reopens for British travellers!

That live map of the aircraft traffic was a showing a LACK of traffic? What's "normal" traffic like?

I remember seeing the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on TV and that's about my only memory of Buckingham Palace aside from singing on Google maps but if you were flying into Minneapolis that might be another story….. Or Seattle.

Your video says Dublin and Shannon only airports with US pre clearance. This is not accurate. Both Frankfurt and Amsterdam have pre clearance
I agree with a previous comment by Benjamin you definitely give good value comment and suggestions I flew with Aer Lingus LHR to DUB and back in August 2021 and found the service very good. Keep up the good work and can you recommend a really good British Airways flight to boost my Avios points at minimum cost?
My most flown route is Land’s End to St. Mary’s
Aer Lingus do the same with early morning flights to Malaga during the summer in an A330, but it’s basically an economy flight in a big seat. There are no further “frills”
I’ve often wondered Paul if you carry business cards to hand to the flight crew or passengers if they ask what you are doing with all the filming?
My most flown rout is between the town of bed and a short layover to bath and then the large town of kitchen lol

8:25 Dublin isn't approved/rated for A380 aircraft – Shannon is (indeed, that's where Airbus did certain crosswind/headwind/tailwind tests prior to the A380 achieving certification. Fun, innit?

My most flown route is Helsinki-Frankfurt-Algiers
they look great and most of the aer lingus flights come over my estate in oxford
Apperently hearing from Emirates based in Dublin, they do wanna fly A380's here bur need to build gates and a new terminal for them
I saw Buckingham I have many memories around that area also I saw LCY I have a memory walking out of my hotel in London and seeing a BA city flyer E175 landing at LCY in December 2018
So depressing taking the craic out of Ireland you want to try so called Irish Ferries to France
I flew the Dublin-Southampton route about once a month before Flybe shut down. Now I fly to/from London. Flybe’s return will hopefully make it easier again though.

Did once and never again this air lingus it’s on budget but I wouldn’t fly on this thing not even for free anymore it’s safe it’s just to small in my brain to cross Atlantic ocean 🙄 even through it does and prefectly fine im fan of lufthansa bigger much space and if course more money

I was in terminal 2 a few days ago and it was mental. Luckily my dad can access fast track so we weren't long checking in or I'm security and I could access the business lounge even though I flew economy
When my mum first explained American immigration being located in Dublin airport she said "you're on American soil" so 7 year old me thought that the imported soil from America and put it on top of the irish soil. She just should have explained the full story. Most adults are like that. I asked my uncle why our phone needs needs to be put on airplane mode because he is a pilot and he just said it messes with the instruments so I thought there was a band inside the cockpit and one time on a plane I kept asking my mum If I could listen to the pilots music.
I rode this Toronto to Dublin (and vice versa) back in 2017. Fantastic flight.

I just booked two tickets from CDG to DUB in September. This is a one way trip for us and will fill in a gap in the into CDG and out of DUB trip. In comparing flight options I had visited the Aer Lingus ticketing site several times. I was just about to order the better flight option and I noticed that the AerSpace class was almost the cheapest option. I saved 40 euros per ticket over what I was about to select. I don’t know the actual plane model that will be used, but we are on row 1.
Would anyone happen to know if the airline still gives out blankets on the international flights? I've seen conflicting responses to this post covid…

Not made for an Irish airline 😅
I did Dublin – Newark return over the last week with family. Out in economy, return in business. Flying from our local UK airport to Dublin and tranferring was much cheaper and preferable to direct to JFK from our nearest hub – Manchester – also with Aer Lingus.
The US customs in Dublin was excellent. Despite hundreds in the queue we were through in just 40 minutes and the staff were excellent at calling out connecting passengers who were getting close to their flight leaving.
Plenty of room even in economy row 24, good in seat entertainment, although I slept for most of the trip! On arrival at Newark not even a passport check. Off the aircraft, into the terminal and down the stairs to luggage pick up. 20 minutes from off plane to transfer taxi to Manhattan.
Business on return and a disappointment. Despite being a group of three we were booked in row 2 which has 4 seats, and not a double and a single seat behind. I checked the night before and there were business class seats available, so my hope was the adjacent seat would be empty. It was until everyone was on board when my neighbour arrived so business was full! He was an ex Aer Lingus pilot in his 70s and still had perks, unfortunately his wife had to sit in the back! He had flown 747s for many years and was also authorised to fly the 5 engine version which was used to transport engines around the world.
We had access to the BA lounge in Newark so had decent food and some drinks before departure. Business class service was excellent, attentive staff and great food. My neighbour knew the cabin crew leader as she had 25 years service. My only disappointment was the return flight was only about 5 hours 40 min, with a couple of hours to serve drinks and food and tidy up I only had time for three hours sleep in the very comfy lie flat bed! I was happy to miss breakfast for an extra 30 minutes and woke as we crossed the Irish coast over Mayo.
We booked in March and the business class return sector was £400, which was only £200 more per person than economy and well worth it.
ive flow from CHS to Miami times about 150 times and i got atleast 10 of them for free and get upgraded almost every time because of house much status I earn from flying.

Flying on a A321LR on this 55-minute hop is amazing, but the service seems to be lacking a bit
The airport isn't actually in Swords, Swords is about a 5 minute drive away but the townland it was built on and is located in is Collinstown, and is actually nearer to the suburb of Santry (Seantrabh) than it is to Swords
