  1. My 8 month old Bengal is Hell on Wheels. She bites, and bites hard. She does not like to be held, until she says so…and when she wants to sit in my lap. She has the zoomies times a thousand. She climbs, chews, tears things up, and will not learn the word NO. I keep a spray bottle near by me constantly. The only times she is vocal is just before she is going to do something naughty…like she is saying "try to stop me" and she will look right at me when doing something wrong, as if implying "I am going to do it anyway regardless." She can be mean and temperamental, and she can be quite awnry. She is a definite handful to say the least. But I still love her.

  2. All bengals in the Netherlands cost like 1000-1500, show models more but def. not 500 bucks

  3. I have a rescue Bengal, and she has the glittery fur when it catches the sun. She's the fifth cat I've ever owned and by far the most demanding, manipulative, and talkative. I can have running conversations with her where she always answers back. I love her to bits although she can be a handful at times and constantly demanding attention when she isn't sleeping. I harnessed trained her and take her on walks, but I definitely wouldn't recommend a Bengal cat to a first-time cat owner. Unfortunately some of them do end up in shelters because people buy one for the looks, then find they can't cope with the constant need for attention, wrecking your furniture, and inappropriate peeing. Get used to having to leave all the doors in your house wedged open, because they want access everywhere and will yowl until they get it. It's like having a super-smart, manipulative toddler in your house that never grows up. She gets away with it by knowing when to be affectionate, and often gets under the covers beside me in bed. I wouldn't swap her for the world, but just be warned, if you're looking for a nice, easy-going, chilled house cat, a Bengal isn't it.

  4. i always watch your videos to find what cat would be best for me thanks for all the information.

  5. having a bengal cat as a roommate is crazy, especially since she gave birth a while ago, and we have two extra critters scattering around the place. help

  6. It honestly sounds like the WORST version of a cat that's possible. Cat people usually like them because they're not as needy as dogs, they're quiet, calm, lightweight and just chill most of the day. The downsides with cats compared to dogs is the smaller amounts of affection they show and the effort it requires to get it from them but most cat owners like it that way. This cat on the other hand requires shit loads of attention, training and it doesn't fall for human trickery that's usually used to manipulate a pet to cooperate. They're hyperactive, not the most docile of animals and can cause serious damage to a house. It's basically like having a small lion / tiger as a pet, only it's not nearly as pretty and 10 times less noble.

  7. So umm my Bengal Duke is 21 years old and can still run and jump so…should I be concerned he is a mutant?

  8. I was stationed in Thailand, 73-74 and fell in love. (Locals killed and stuffed adults and i rescued the babies) Mischief was entertaining and mostly hilarious. They're smart and loving. Always expect them to shower with you and love baths. Lost all due to levy break and miss having one! Still.

  9. We have a grey and black bengal kitten coming into our garden. She hisses at my moggie who is male. She is beautiful though. 🇬🇧

  10. We adopted a cat from a litter of kittens in the neighborhood. Mom was an outdoor cat and not a single one looked the same. A marbled brown kitten caught our eye, and she came home with us. Vet says dad was most likely a Bengal because boy does she act like one. She loves to go outside, doesn't mind the harness at all. She's gorgeous and super sociable. She and our dog are best friends.

  11. "She actually mated with her father."
    WUT!?!?!? I'm absolutely disgusted! 🤮🤮🤮

  12. Last summer, my wife and I were biking on a local trail & a beautiful marbled Bengal was just laying in the middle of the trail. I could tell that she was hot, tired, hungry, and dehydrated. She was wearing a simple collar, so I thought that someone would be looking for her. I was unable to locate her owner. Shortly thereafter, she was diagnosed with a blood infection. We thought that she would not survive.

Fortunately, she was not a picky-eater (due to being malnourished, I suppose). That meant that she was willing to eat any food that had medicine mixed in. Now, Missy is almost 11 pounds & doing great!

  13. My cat is a 2:32 bengal/raggdoll mix and i had one befor like that and the bengal part is always the strongest. But the mix makes realy lovely cats, smart, beautyful. Fun thing is when i have been away (family at home) and come back after some days se always make me pay. – can not ger near her in a couple of days. After that she is lovely again 😂

  14. I have a four year old Bengal, he's the sweetest, most docile cat you'd ever want. I adore him.

  15. I got a gorgeous almost 2 months old kitten from Petco. She was just spade which I think is TOO early! She was just SO different than any cat I ever owned. She thought I was her mom. She would fetch and gets bored very easily. If I don't wake when she wants , she can open her Temptations boxes. She is a talker AND loves sitting in the sink, esp. with water on. I love her so much!!

  16. Our female Bengal is 9 years old, has the glitter gene and glistens in the sun. She is very active, a talker, climber, jumper and one of the most affectionate cats we've ever had. She is the alpha (2 dogs + 2 cats) in our house and our dogs won't walk past her if she's in their way. Lol. She's trained us quite well to her needs 😂 and we absolutely love her.

  17. Yes a cat of any kind will catch birds and eat them if you cant deal with that then dont get a cat.

  18. Everything is more intense with bengals compared to regular cats. Theyre twice as playful, twice as social and twice as loving if you raise them right. They can also be twice the menace if you don't put in the work and time

  19. I just lost my 10 yr old "pretty boy" in October to congestive heart failure. He was exceptional, and I still miss him so very much. He got along with everyone; dogs, cats, and people. He was definitely one of a kind.

  20. I live on a farm in the loft of a barn, I need a cat who's able to climb the wall like it's no one elses business

  21. There are a lot of regular "Tabbies" with stripes and/or rosettes. I adopted an 8 week old a few weeks ago along with his sleek black paired kitten friend. They are lovable, get along well with our 14 year old senior cat and do greet us at the door and follow us all over the apartment. I am reminded that I need to "toddler proof' the space as everything in the world is a cat toy
