I have another brand that works exactly the same without the giant box around it or smart features. It was less than $200, so I have 2 for the cost of one with all of these unnecessary functions. I'm so glad someone made a simply functional automatic litter box that is more affordable because the useless bells and whistles means only people with a lot of money can afford one.
My god the fear mongering is strong here.

I owned an electronic litter box for two years it doesn’t have to be scooped as often but is much harder to clean due to the rotating drums u have to wipe the inside of the drum of poop & pee daily & the outer side of the drum on occasion. I went back to a stainless liter box
Can the cat get trapped in there? Is there a sensor to tell when the cat is using it.

As long as the power is on. Power goes out, you scoop. Those fancy electronics break or malfunction you scoop. And it could hurt your cat. Simple is better the more gag it’s the more that goes wrong.

Doesn't work, and cats don't like going in an enclosed area. Cats are programed genetically to go outside, sniff, scratch, do their business and cover it up. They are clean pets. Stop being lazy, scooping out their litter box is part of having a fur baby, just like you cleaning your toilet 🚽 everyday. Also, a big, deep litter box, with natural litter, no crystals, pellets, or scented litter, which can be harmful to your cat, and this contraption is dangerous!
Please, If anyone is interested in buying a litter robot, get one that ALWAYS, has an opening for a cat. And make sure if it rotates, that it does not have a lid incase it catches on to the cat and hurts it.

This style of automatic litter box is very dangerous. It can lead to strangulation.

Throw this in the TRASH IMMEDIATELY!!!! This style can malfunction and squish the cat in a horrible death. Why are they still selling this style??? These have killed cats and you are risking yours. There are way safer versions of these out there. 😭
I think the design of mine is vastly superior. My Kitties do not run the risk of being crushed if the sensors fail, at the price of some very little litter on a map designed for easy cleaning.
Alwayss please be careful with theses…. Manufacturers please add more safety features

Oh joy, an overpriced automatic guillotine for cats! YAAAY 🎉 … This product and products like this are a great way to unintentionally scar your children for life after seeing fluffies head seperated from it's body and will cost you more on future trama therapy when the safety feature fails! Even better if you act now and buy products like this you won't have to worry about ever having to buy cat food or cat litter again as you will be too traumatized to ever want to attempt to adopt another pet!
There have been hundreds of these sorts of "self cleaning litterboxes" which has killed cats by building them without sensors
Risking your cat's life because you don't feel like cleaning up after them is an interesting choice to make.
They really just let anyone have pets.
