Please expose your irish setter or any dog for that matter, to lots of things during the socialisation stage. If something scares them, any dog would become reactive. It is of extreme importance to build up their confidence and teach them to be balanced, not just for the owner but especially for the dog. Triggering these reactions with something they are scared of, is just immature and harsh. A dog isn’t a toy or a possesion one can use for their own amusement. Please educate yourself and take better care of them. They deserve to be happy and comfortable, they deserve it MUCH more than any of us humans…
